Yoga works within the boundaries of your own body to improve posture, increase flexibility and strengthen the body. It combines postures (asanas) with breathing (pranayama) and relaxation techniques, which help calm a busy mind, and assist in the removal of nervous tension and stress.
Yoga can create an overall feeling of wellbeing and allow you to take some time for yourself, to stretch, breathe and relax.
Yoga is not just for the young, fit and flexible! All classes are mixed ability, but allow you to work at your own pace. Modifications can be given for all abilities, or adjustments made for conditions affecting areas such as the back, neck or knees.
