Battling through the trials of perimenopause or menopause? Struggling with brain fog, night sweats, achey joints and more… Feeling alone, anxious, exhausted; or all three? We are here to help!
Nurture Retreats has the answer. After months of planning, Alice, Jenny & I are delighted to offer you a day of wellness, inspiration and empowerment.
With Yoga flows, nutrition advice, breathwork, mindfulness, and a sound bath in a beautiful outdoor space, this is a day not to be missed.
Freshly prepared home-cooked refreshments will be provided, including hot and cold drinks and a two course plant based meal.
Nurture Retreats is founded by Certified Health Coach and Hormone Specialist, Alice Sheldon. Alice is joined by myself as a British Wheel of Yoga, Breathwork Facilitator and Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher and Jenny-Ann Topham, a Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Mindfulness Coach and Sound Healer.
Together we will provide a wonderful collaboration of knowledge and experience in helping women during menopause or peri-menopause.
Places are strictly limited to ensure a personal & tranquil environment so please book early to avoid disappointment
Please read the following guidance, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I will be following the guidance from the Government, Sport England and the British Wheel of Yoga, to ensure that we can practice safely.
Please stay at home if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have been recommended to self isolate or in quarantine by your GP.
If you, or someone you live with, are classed as vulnerable, do check with your doctor about whether it’s suitable for you to return to a yoga class.
Please remember bring your own mat and any props you would like. I’m now able to provide blocks, so a firm cushion, as well as your blanket would be helpful.
Please adhere to social distancing when you enter the room. Class sizes are capped to give us as much space as we can. We will be observing 1m social distancing between mats if we can, but will be able to observe as usual.
If you wish to do so a mask can be worn whilst entering, exiting, or moving around the hall, including the toilets. You do not need to wear a mask at all under current legislation.

Alice worked as an Equine Veterinary Surgeon for 17 years before retiring from practice to establish her own health and fitness business in 2019.
In addition to her qualifications in Personal Training and Nutrition, she also has a First Class Honours Degree in Human Psychology and is a Certified Behaviour Change Coach.
Alice specialises in helping people untangle the challenges and confusion associated with diet and exercise to form sustainable habits for a happier, healthier life.
In her coaching practice Alice uses the Tiny Habits Method, pioneered by Professor B J Fogg at Stanford University. This approach empowers people by starting with small changes that ultimately become transformative. She has used this approach in her own life as she built her fitness from 5 minutes of Joe Wicks a day to running 100 mile mountain races.
She has created the Nurture Retreats Venue from a wood clearing at the bottom of her garden and works with local experts to provide a range of health and wellbeing experiences.
